Kennedy's Altrincham named in CAMRA best bar and pub guide for 2026

We're excited to announce that Kennedy's, Altrincham, has been named in CAMRA's Guide - Manchester's Best Beer Pubs and Bars, the second edition authored by Matthew Curtis of Pellicle Magazine. You'll find us in the Salford and Trafford section on page 163, which feels right for a pub that's become a cornerstone of a great day out in Altrincham.

"Kennedy's has formed a cornerstone of many a day exploring Alty. The inviting red-painted exterior leads the way into a pub that does feel authentically Irish, with well-trodden wooden floorboards and a large bar that offers a decent range of beer... By day it's pretty subdued, but at night Kennedy's is transformed into a live music venue inviting fun and frivolity from the raucous crowd."
