Birthdays, christenings, wakes, work celebrations or just an excuse for a get-together, Kennedy's Altrincham and Didsbury both have a space for it. Private hire at Kennedy's gets you free venue hire (minimum spend may apply on larger bookings) plus an event organiser to sort live music, drinks packages and decorations. Spaces flex from a private area to the whole bar. Send your date, headcount and occasion.

Back in January 2026, one of our pints from Kennedy's Altrincham was named a 2025 pint of the week winner by GuinnessGB, putting us in the running for their pint of the year. Guinness invited us down to their Open Gate Brewery in London for a tour, a tasting session with Emmet, and a pour competition. We finished the day at The Devonshire Arms and The Toucan in Soho.

Kennedy's Altrincham has proudly been named in CAMRA's 'Manchester's Best Beer Pubs and Bars' 2nd Edition for 2026.

Five years of Kennedy's Irish Bar in Altrincham, marked with five days of live music over the bank holiday, £5 offers changing throughout Sunday, and a special Saturday happy hour. From a small bar in 2021 to doubling in size in 2023 and opening a second site in Didsbury in 2025, here's to the next five years.
