Our famous Guinness pour in Kennedy's Didsbury. A pint of the black stuff in front of our Kennedy's mirror.

Kennedy's Didsbury one of only 35 pubs in the UK named in the Guinness Harp Guide

We're proud to share that Kennedy's Didsbury has been named in the first ever Guinness Harp Guide, a list of 35 pubs across the UK recognised for serving the very best pint of the black stuff.

The Guinness Harp Guide judges pubs against five things: quality of pour, welcoming atmosphere, strong community, great service and genuine love of Guinness. Every pub on the list receives an official brass Guinness harp plaque to display, and the public will be able to nominate their own favourites for next year's guide.

Kennedy's Didsbury is one of only three Manchester pubs named in the Guinness Harp Guide, alongside Mulligans in the city centre and fellow Didsbury venue The Station, as Manchester Wire reported. It's a proud moment for a bar that only opened its doors last year, having built its name in Altrincham first.

Being named in the Guinness Harp Guide is another sign that the community here in Didsbury has taken to Kennedy's in a big way. Thank you to everyone who's poured, pulled up a stool, sank a pint and helped make this happen.
